I graduated from Mitchell High School in 2010
Started playing soccer my junior year in high school and also played senior year. I met my fiancé, Carissa Scherschligt, in high school because she played soccer as well. I graduated from MHS in 2010. Then, I moved to Yankton to play soccer at Mount Marty for one year and moved back to Mitchell this year after my baby boy, Carter Royce Sanchez was born. I have a fiancé, Carissa Scherschligt and am a welder at Trail King. I wanted to coach soccer to be involved with the soccer program and its growth here in Mitchell. Hopefully one day my boy will be out on the field playing. I am currently working on my coaching license.
I enjoy helping others grow. I was never put into sports as my parents weren’t really involved in my childhood until I decided I wanted to play sports for myself. If I could help people believe in themselves and grow in a sport that teaches them respect, humility and confidence among other things, then I could help set them up for a successful future. I had to achieve this on my own.
