Mitchell Soccer Association
Minutes of 6-16-08
Present: Tom Berg, Deanna Wempe, Tonya Meaney, Laurie Hamar, Coach Duff, Terry Asleson, Kayla Jacqout and Steven Ptak
Absent: Dan Williams, Denise Werner, Kami Martin, and Scott Muillenmeister
Minutes: There were no corrections to the minutes.
Agenda:
Fall Soccer:
Coach Duff will be coaching both the boys and girls soccer in the fall. He will be assisted by Erin (Day) Conrad for the girls JV. Bob Lemon will be coaching the Mitchell Christian boys team.
We may need to raise the pay for the referees in the fall.
Dates to remember:
July 7: Fall registration will be held at MHS from 5 – 7 pm. Bring a registration form, uniform form, birth certificate, picture, $55 for boys (girls are covered by the high school), and a parent to sign forms. We will have extra forms available, or you can print them from our website www.mitchellsoccer.org.
August 11: Fall soccer practice starts. Remember to have the registration and sports physical filled out otherwise you cannot practice.
August 12 and 14: Mandatory parents meeting (you only need to be at one of these) at 7:30 pm at Cadwell
A motion was made by Deanna Wempe to pay for an ad in the newspaper to appear prior to July 7 for the fall registration. Laurie Hamar seconded the motion. MOTION carried
Spring Soccer: A bill of $643.12 was submitted for the referees for spring soccer to the MSA
MSA Website: These are some of the suggestions that may appear on the website:
Dates of July 7, August 11, August 12 and 14, the next meeting date, minutes of the MSA meeting and possible the schedules for the fall soccer season.
Next meeting: The next meeting for MSA is set for July 14, 2008 at 7:00 pm at the Mitchell Parks and Rec.
